The Speaker:
Dr Xiaohua Chen is an engineering-minded leader with over 20 years experience in the process and
design works for the water and wastewater treatment plants. He currently directs a team of process and
design engineers to execute the water and wastewater treatment projects for China and Asia. He has
provided technology solutions to many large scale water and wastewater projects across a variety of
applications in China, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia & India. He has conducted over 20
technical seminars in water & wastewater process design & applications in China for the last 5 years.
Originating from China, He holds a BS degree from University of Tianjin, Master Degree from Ecole
Nationale des Ponts et Chaussees University Paris and a Doctor’s Degree in water treatment (Hydrology)
from University of Paris VI.
